The cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of premature death today, although some of them are already being treated or at least stabilize the situation. Medicines help to an almost normal life. But some restrictions are necessary. And, of course, it is best to take care of your health before you have to deny something. More than anything my heart loves the movement. 30 minutes walk each day are needed to maintain cardiac tone. Even after myocardial doctors recommend their patients short walks 2 times a day. The heart is affected and many of the proper diet – more fruits, vegetable oil, lightly cooked food. Vegetable fats are the main source of unsaturated fatty acids that keep cholesterol levels within normal limits. The heart does not like overweight. It is considered normal if a person throughout his life maintained the weight that was 25 years old (of course if they had suffered in childhood obesity or excessive weakness). If you can quit smoking – stress and workload on the heart will decrease. If you are unable to stop the habit, at least try to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked. Smoking damages not only the health but also interact with certain medications, such as weakening their effect. The heart loves when we relaxed. Bad mood and aggression are destructive emotions not only for others but for ourselves. Of course, it is impossible to prevent all types of stress, but we can learn to react more accurately and to control these conditions. Alcohol is a good helper in tension – after a short time, he relaxes and even strengthens the negative factors.
The heart needs adequate amounts: • potassium, which plays a crucial role to play in the body of excess fluids, improving the activity of the heart muscle. Large amount of potassium contained beans, soybeans, peas, apricots, prunes, peaches, black tea, cocoa.
• magnesium, which has vasodilating and diuretic. The main source of magnesium plant products are: peas, oats, watermelon, almonds, hazelnuts, sea kale, black tea, coffee. • iodine, which favorably affect the metabolism (especially important for atherosclerosis). Most rich in iodine include fish, squid, shrimp, sea cabbage. Iodine is found in eggs, meat, milk, beet salad, potatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, plums. • vitamin C, which strengthens blood vessels. Some of the best sources of vitamin C are red peppers, apples, lemons, fennel, rosehips, blackcurrant. • Vitamin D, which strengthens the small blood vessels and makes them more elastic. Contained as many as cherries, currants, tea, peas, oranges, lemons, rosehips, raspberries and strawberries.
